ex2D Wiki With Complete Documentation!

Karas once told me how popular a tool can become largely depends on how well it’s documented. I agree with him totally. I usually read documentation carefully before purchase any software. Sometimes the fancy feature list on the product page lies, but documentation never lies. If something is written in documentation, you know for sure you can get it done with the tool.

ex2D has been released for over a month. We apologize for not having a complete documentation until now. We really wanted to finish the documents earlier but the development of ex2D was just too rapid. We have released 6 version in the past month. More than one release per week, to get the bug fix and feature requirements by the community as soon as possible. It’s such a pleasure to communicate closely with our users. They have provided so much great feedback and kept us improving things.

Finally we got all the essential features polished and Karas has spent the last weekend on writing documentation. And here we go, ex2D wiki with complete documentation! (we even put on a new looking ;)

The improved ex2D wiki site contains documentation for all the ex2D editor/component/runtime classes. Also you may be interested in checking out FAQ section. It’s a living page. I will keep compiling interesting topics asked by our users into this page. Also we added the sidebar so you can easily navigate to anything related to ex2D.

We hope this can help you get the most out of ex2D. If you find anything unclear or not correct please do leave a comment here. We would like to make sure we provide any good information we know about the tool and sprite game development in Unity.

Enjoy!
